ٱنفِرُوا۟ خِفَافًۭا وَثِقَالًۭا وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ 

˹O believers!˺ March forth whether it is easy or difficult for you, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if only you knew (Quran 9:41)

Sister Margaret Rose Murray Muhammed was an influential and revered member of the North Carolina, African American, and Muslim community. the goal of the digital archive project is to immortalize her legacy and display her impact as an educator, community member, and a mother. Through this endevor, we have compiled memories from sister margaret’s life and the impact she had on others. We hope her wisdom may continue to educate future generations of activists and leaders.
